Lipitor and Memory Loss

Atorvastatin , A widley used drug sold under the name Lipitor and several others, is a cholesterol lowering drug from the drug class called statins.Lipitor works by lowering the amount of cholesterol the body produces which in turn lowers the total amount of LDL cholesterol. Lipitor is the largest selling drug in the United States selling over $12 billion worth of sales in just a year. Millions of people each day take Lipitor to battle there high cholesterol, but how many of these people experience side effects and just how severe can they be?
Sadley the big Pharmaceutical companies has millions of americans by there lips "hooked"
into believing that lipitor can make them live longer and prevent heart attacks. There are hundreds of heart healthy natural suppliments around, in fact vitamin C has been shown to be very good for your heart and preventing heart attacks. But instead people are talked into putting there health in the hands of Lipitor and similar cholesterol lowering drugs. With a little research though you will unfortunatelly find evidence of Lipitor causing neuromuscular degeneration, trouble swallowing, trouble talking , feeling fatigued, Blinding headaches, nausea, vertigo, disorientation, memory loss, extreme dry eyes, Muscle pain, weakness, and spasms just to name a few. How can Lipitor do this when its suppossed to be a helpful drug? Well unfortunatelly your body does need cholesterol to live - without it we would die, and by lowering it Lipitor is inderectly causing membrane degeneration in neural and muscle tissue. Scary thought huh? Whats also scary is the extremely high amount of people reporting memory loss, and severe memory loss while taking Lipitor. Things can get ugly quick and some experience memory loss so severe that some individuals completely forget who there spouses and children are. If you have had symptoms of memory loss and are taking Lipitor then now you know the severity that these drugs can cause.
